Selle

David E. Selle, 66, of Mars, passed away on Wednesday afternoon at AHN Wexford.

Born in Butler, on Aug. 13, 1955, he was the son of the late William E. and Roberta M. Pinkerton Selle.

He was a 1973 graduate of Mars High School, and enjoyed playing sports and watching the Pittsburgh and Pitt sports teams.

Dave had been a shipping and receiving supervisor for Reese Brothers and First Impressions, both printing companies in Pittsburgh.

He was a member of Mars United Methodist Church, now Dutilh United Methodist Church in Cranberry Township.

He loved the great outdoors, camping and gardening, and was an avid fisherman and a member of Trout Unlimited.

Surviving are his brothers, Rodney Selle of Mars and Scott Selle (Melina) of West Sunbury; a close family friend, Richard “Dick” Belle of Mars; a niece, Danielle M. Selle in Chicago; a nephew, Robert W. Selle of West Sunbury; and his cousins.

SELLE — Friends of David E. Selle, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
