Weibel

Charlotte Rose Weibel, 93, of Saxonburg, formerly Gibsonia, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Feb. 21, 2022, at Fair Winds Manor nursing home in Sarver.

She was born at home in Gibsonia, on Jan. 10, 1929, and was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Welling Morrison.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd Weibel; her son, Gary Weibel; her stepdaughter, Patricia Miller; and her brother, John "Jack" Morrison.

She was the loving mother of Evelyn “Bunny” (Joseph) McKinney of Saxonburg, Stanley (Charlotte) Weibel of Parker, Sandra (Eugene) Mariani of Jamestown, Pa., and Kevin (Carla) Weibel of Eau Claire; the sister of Carrie Mae Welsh of Amberson, Pa.; cherished grandmother of Shannon (Doug) Blain, Candace (Gregg) Preteroti, Joseph (Stephanie) McKinney, Robert Kane, Richard (Becca) Kane, Rachelle (Jeffrey) Mansfield, Dustin (Anjelica) Weibel and Kevin Weibel; stepgrandmother of Bill Miller, Valerie D'Amato, Susan Cubarney and Kenny Miller.

She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Tristan Blain, Stone Preteroti, Natalie Kane, Aspen McKinney, Dominick Weibel, Oliver Weibel and Nicolas Weibel.

She is also survived by 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; 22 stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte, affectionately known as “Me-Maw,” loved gardening, camping, and sharing and teaching her passions to her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg.

WEIBEL — A viewing for Charlotte Rose Weibel, who died Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where a prayer service will follow visitation at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Kelly Angleberger officiating.

A private burial will be held at Pine Creek Cemetery in Fox Chapel, where she will be laid to rest.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring at the Clinton Presbyterian Church to honor her life and love of flowers and family. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 197 Glade Mill Road, Saxonburg, PA 16056.
