Vaccinate America, a student-run organization at Penn State University focused on advancing vaccine awareness and helping people make responsible, educated decisions regarding vaccination, will give an interactive presentation over video Zoom from 7 to 8 p.m. March 1 for members of the Seneca Valley School District community.

This short presentation focuses on the basics of vaccines: how they work, why they work and how they protect not only oneself, but also other members of the community. In addition, Vaccinate America will address several common questions and misconceptions parents and community members may have when considering vaccination for themselves and their children.

Vaccinate America will also discuss the COVID-19 vaccine, a timely topic as COVID-19 pediatric vaccinations and boosters are now available in the United States.
