Osborne

On Feb. 21, 2022, surrounded by her family, Margaret Ann Osborne 84 years of age went home to be with her Lord.

Peggy was born on June 1, 1937, at Butler Hospital, and was the daughter of Harold and Grace Fisher Roth.

She will be greatly missed by her eight children, Vaylee (Bill) Osborne, Jim Osborne, Patrick Osborne, Mike Osborne, Terry Osborne, Shelly (Bob) Peterson, Carletta (Don) Daugherty and Monica (Jason) Coleman; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Peg worked at Magnetics in East Butler.

She loved to crochet and was an amazing cook.

One of the highlights of Peg’s weeks was teaching Sunday school class. She loved sharing the stories of Jesus with boys and girls. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Osborne, whom she married Aug. 16, 1958, and who died May 1, 2021.

OSBORNE — Visitation for Margaret Ann Osborne, who died Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road, Butler.

There will be a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. John Barkley officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Chestnut Cemetery in Butler.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME in Prospect.
