The following defendant was sentenced this week in Butler County Common Pleas Court.

Jessica Lynn Trinkley, 34, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation, pay $150 in fines and pay $98.94 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to charges in three cases.

She was sentenced to concurrently serve 12 months of probation in each case. She pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance and retail theft filed after a March 15 incident by Butler Township police. In another case, she pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance filed after a March 31 incident by Butler city police. In the third case, she pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed after a May 13 incident by city police.
