The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry said Thursday that users of its systems, including Unemployment Compensation claimants, will experience intermittent outages through the Presidents Day holiday weekend due to routine system maintenance.

The maintenance project will begin Saturday morning and end Monday evening, and will limit public access to the online and phone systems administered by the department. This could disrupt the filing of weekly unemployment claims, according to a news release from the department.

Additional staff will be working extended hours from Tuesday to Thursday to further assist users who may have been affected by the downtime.
