Kenneth DeWayne Rice, 62, of Prospect, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 3, 1959, in Butler, he was the son of Ronald A. and Loretta F. Barkley Rice.

He attended St John’s Stone Church in Harmony.

Ken retired in December of 2016, from Universal Scaffolding and Manufacturing in Zelienople, where he was a welder.

He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Zelienople Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Darci (Troy) Saracco of Sewickley, Megan (Bill Werme) Rice of Baldwin and Jason (Heidi) Rice of Slippery Rock; his grandchildren, Nora Saracco, Troy Saracco, Charlotte Rice and Hannah Rice; his parents, Ron and Loretta Rice of Harmony; his sister, Connie Rice of Zelienople; and three nieces, Jessica, Casey and Sydni.

RICE — A memorial visitation for Kenneth DeWayne Rice, who died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
