Stivason

Shirley A. Stivason, 85, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.

She was born in Mosgrove, Pa., on Sept. 22, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Fred and Linnie (McAfoose) Cogley.

She enjoyed bingo, traveling, casinos, dinner with friends, and craft shows. Above all else, she was very family oriented.

Shirley was the beloved mother of Harold Stivason Jr., Janet (Loyal) Fend, Richard (Debbie) Stivason and Tammy (Michael) Thompson.

She is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, four brothers and one sister.

STIVASON — Friends of Shirley A. Stivason, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
