Hohmann

Joan Hohmann, 88, passed away peacefully at home the morning of Feb. 4, 2022.

Joan was born in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Donald J. and Ethel Hesselgesser Richards.

She formerly worked for the Village Inn, Home Interiors, Mary Kay and also owned a dog grooming business.

She was not affiliated with a local church, but her family was assured to know she was saved.

Joan enjoyed family, friends, reading, decorating and gardening. When younger, she loved roller skating, water skiing, bowling and going to the Outer Banks.

Survivors include her children, John (Kim) Hohmann of Ellwood City, and Judi (Jim) Christley of White Lake, Mich.; one sister, Karen Frampton of Grove City; and five grandchildren, Stephen, Sam, Hollyann, Adam and Amber.

She was preceded by her husband, Paul E. Hohmann; her son, James Hohmann; two infant sons, Randy and Sammy; two infant daughters, Debbie Jo and Darla; and one brother, Walter Richards.

HOHMANN — There will be no public visitation and funeral services will be private for Joan Hohmann, who died Friday, Feb. 4, 2022.
