Paula Good

Paula Verne Good, 70, of Portersville, surrounded by her family, went home to be with the Lord at her residence on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022.

She was born in New Castle, on Feb. 22, 1951, the daughter of Paul Laverne Book and Dorothy Irene Carrara Book.

She grew up attending Branchton United Methodist Church. Paula graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1969, and that same year, she married her best friend, Terry Dennis Good.

She was a concert pianist and traveled the world as part of the Veterans Administration Traveling Choir. Her concert travels took her to many places including Russia, The White House, and Carnegie Hall. She also was a homemaker and caring for her family was her most important priority.

She performed locally at many churches providing holiday concerts for Christmas, Easter and other services when requested.

Survivors include her husband, Terry at home; daughter, Kerry P. (Nathan) Miller of Portersville; two sons, Ryan P. (Adria) Good of Slippery Rock and Timothy D. Good of Portersville; twin brothers, Mitchell F. (Brenda) Book of Winona Lake, Ind. and Martin J. (Ruth) Book of Springfield, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

GOOD — There will be no public services for Paula Verne Good, who died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022.

Interment will be in Portersville Presbyterian Church cemetery.
