Jo Ann Wagner, 85, of Winfield Township, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, peacefully, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Jo Ann was born in Freeport on Feb. 3, 1937, a daughter of the late Leokadia H. "Lottie" (Uleski) Rotolo and Raymond J. Bowser.

She was a member of Evangel Heights Assembly of God in Sarver. Jo Ann volunteered at her church and at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and flower gardening.

Jo Ann is survived by her children, Ronald Thompson, of Buffalo Township, Robert Thompson, of Hiram, Ga., William (Kay) Thompson, of Washington, Pa., Janet Thompson, of Buffalo Township; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Raymond Bowser of Buffalo Township.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Lynn R. Thompson; second husband, Charles L. Wagner Sr.; sons, Donald and Dale Thompson; grandson, Jason Thompson; sister, Mary Lou Grossman; and brother, Richard Bowser.

WAGNER — Family and friends of Jo Ann Wagner, who died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport. Visitation will continue from 10 to 11 a.m.Tuesday at the Evangel Heights Assembly of God.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the church with Pastor Dan Corfield, officiating.

Burial will be held in Butler County Memorial Park.
