Cygan

Cayla M. Cygan, 33, of Butler, lost her battle with addiction on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022.

She was born July 24, 1988, the daughter of Douglas and Lori (Hoffman) Cygan of Butler.

A 2006 graduate of Butler High School, she enjoyed playing violin and performed in Strolling Strings. After high school, she studied nursing at the Lenape Technical School Practical Nursing Program in Kittanning and received her LPN in 2008. She enjoyed dancing, singing karaoke, fishing, and spending time with friends.

She was the mother of Carly M. Cygan, Roman A. Zanetti, and Laiken L. Schnur, all of Butler.

She is survived by her three children; her parents, Douglas and Jennifer Cygan of Butler, Lori Cygan and Phil Daniels of Butler; her sister, Cara Cygan Deighan (Kevin) of Houston, Texas; her brother, Christopher Cygan (Chelsea) of Butler; her nieces, Maylee Cygan of Oklahoma, Denver Cygan of Butler, Adalynn Deighan of Houston, Texas; her nephew, Felix Deighan of Houston, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benjamin and Rita Hoffman of Butler, Laverne and Jeanne Hinchberger of Butler; and an uncle, Timothy Hoffman of Butler.

CYGAN — The visitation and burial will be private for Cayla M. Cygan, who died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022.
