Daniel DiFrischia
Daniel Stephen DiFrischia Sr., 73, of Prospect, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born May 5, 1948, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Albert N. and Sophie Tkachuck DiFrischia.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver.Dan enjoyed gardening, traveling and woodworking.He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie F. Frank DiFrischia, whom he married Nov. 20, 1986; his children, Chelsae (Patrick) Youkers of Butler, Quinn Long of Harrisville, Whitney (Matt Chacey) DiFrischia of Midlothian, Va., Allen (Sarah) DiFrischia of Slippery Rock, and Noah DiFrischia of Prospect; eight grandchildren, Daein, Adisyn, Elise, Eilee, Tiernan, Valor, Apollo and Corisa; and his brother, Joseph (Debbie) DiFrischia of Ellwood City.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Albert DiFrischia, Tim DiFrischia and Janet Ferrante.DiFrischia Sr. — Cremation funeral arrangements for Daniel Stephen DiFrischia Sr., who died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 387 Main St., Prospect.Tributes may be submitted at www.raisleyfuneralhome.com
