Ruth M. Sarver

Ruth M. Sarver, 97, of Rochester, Pa., passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 21, 1924, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Violet (Riding) Graham.

Ruth was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed years of traveling and camping with her husband. They both had a love of boating and fishing, as well as playing slot machines. She along with her daughter enjoyed the Red Hats and their many adventures. She was blessed to be married for 65 years to the love of her life.

She was our family's anchor and will be forever missed.

Surviving are her daughter, Charmiann (Frank) Kononchuk, with whom she made her home; her son, Thomas L. (Karen) Sarver Jr. of Michigan; her granchildren, Barbara (Frank) Clyde and Johnny (Vivian) Smith; her great-grandchildren, Sam (Valerie) Clyde and Amy (Ryan) Minor; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Tynan of Butler; a brother, Robert Graham of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; one stepgrandchild; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Sarver, who died April 25, 2010; a son, Timothy Lee Sarver; three sisters; three brothers; and one stepgrandchild.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care.

SARVER — Service and burial will be private for Ruth M. Sarver, who died Monday, Jan. 31, 2022.
