Pfeifer

Sherry Pfeifer, 75, of Butler, passed away on Jan. 30, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 3, 1946, in Evans City, she was the daughter of Melvin Mays and Dorothy Hunnicutt Mays.

Sherry was a member of Summit Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, cross-stitching, crafting, serving at her church and spending time with her grandsons.

Surviving are three sons, Mike (Michelle) Pfeifer of Butler, Matt Pfeifer of Apopka, Fla., and Marc Pfeifer of McLean, Va.; three grandsons, Luke, Samuel and Daniel; and her sister, Debbie (Frank) Rowe of Centertown, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Walter F. "Buck" Pfeifer, who passed away on Jan. 26, 2022; her parents; and one brother, Ron Mays.

PFEIFER — There will be no visitation for Sherry Pfeifer, who died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022.

A joint memorial service for Sherry and her husband, Buck will be held at a later date.
