Borland

James Richard Borland, 51, of Lyndora, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at the home of his parents.

He was born March 31, 1970, to Scott and Kathy (Steinke) Borland.

Surviving are his parents of Mars; his companion of 23 years, Karen Zavacky; three sons, J.T., Colin and Caleb Borland; Alyssa Lorah; three uncles, Jim (Judie) Borland, Tom (Marsha) Borland and Jack (Betsy) Borland; two great-aunts, Helen Jean Dunbar and Shirley (John) Abt; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.R. and Margaret Borland, and Richard and Irene Davidson Steinke; a stepson, Mark Zavacky; and two aunts, Mary Borland Bennett and her husband, Bill, and Sharen Steinke Fischer and her husband, Buster.

BORLAND — Service and burial will be private for James Richard Borland, who died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.
