James W. Bearrow, 64, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Oct. 14, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Rose Marie (Downey) Bearrow.

James was employed by Local Union 2 as an insulator for 31 years.

He enjoyed hunting, camping time at the beach, water skiing, music and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia (Sherlock) Bearrow, whom he married June 18, 1983; his daughter, Amanda (Chris) Jockel of Butler; his son, Michael Bearrow of Valencia; two grandchildren, Noah and Sadie; his sister, Christine Wize of North Hills; a niece, Lindsay Wize-DeSantis of California; his mother-in-law, Geraldine Sherlock of Allison Park.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Chad Wize; and his father-in-law, Matthew Sherlock.

BEARROW — Friends of James W. Bearrow, who died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

Additional visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke the Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 West Main St., Saxonburg, with the Rev. Mike Galica, pastor, officiating.
