Rosina Dupe

Rosina K. Dupe, 100, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at home.

She was born in Butler on July 3, 1921, the daughter of the late Walter and Katherine (Birckbichler) Horstman.

She was an avid homemaker who loved baking and working in her flower beds. She enjoyed sitting on her porch swing watching the wildlife.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Dupe, who passed away Sept. 22, 1979; two sons, Floyd and Larry Dupe; daughter, Darlene (Dupe) Pizer; an infant daughter and four brothers.

Rosina is survived by her son, James (Laura) Dupe Sr.; and three daughters, Patty (Ken) Orloski, Linda (Bill) Orth and Tammie Dupe, all of Butler; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

DUPE — Burial for Rosina K. Dupe, who died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, was held privately at St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery of Herman under the direction of SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
