Jeffrey Nesbit

Jeffrey Richard Nesbit, 57, of New Castle, passed away peacefully at home the morning of Dec. 24, 2021.

Born Nov. 16, 1964, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Richard and Sally (Sickafuse) Nesbit.

On June 4, 1988, he married his beloved wife of 33 years, Patricia (Evans) Nesbit. She survives at home.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Shenango High School. He was a graduate of ITT Business and Technical School, earning his associate degree in computer science.

Jeffrey was the proud owner of Nesbit Landscape Supply, and Nesbit Guns and Outlet Firearms.

He enjoyed several hobbies, including snowmobiling, traveling, hunting, playing pool and poker, and being a private pilot. He loved making his own cheesecake and ribs for his family and friends. Above everything else, the time he spent with his family was the most important to him.

Jeffrey was a member of Eintracht Society and the NRA.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jeffrey is survived by two sons, Ryan (Sydney) Nesbit and Matthew (Paige) Nesbit; one brother, Richard (Katie) Nesbit; two sisters, Jodi (Marty) Peluso and Sharon (Brett) Progar; and two grandchildren, Savannah and Garrett.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Esther Nesbit, and Robert and Ora Sickafuse.

NESBIT — Visitation for Jeffrey Richard Nesbit, who died Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place at noon Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frederick Gilbert officiating.

Burial will be at Holy Trinity National Cemetery.
