Christopher Krauchak

Christopher L. Krauchak, 58, of Sandy Lake Township, passed away on Dec. 28, 2021.

Chris was born June 8, 1963, in Washington, D.C., and was the son of Gerald P. and the late Karen L. (Fitzpatrick) Krauchak.

He was a graduate of Butler High School, and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom.After his time in the service, he worked at Slippery Rock University as a plumber.Chris enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed playing games and playing horseshoes, and had a very competitive spirit. He was an avid football fan, especially loving the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his earlier years, he enjoyed traveling and would always collect a rock from every country and place he visited. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his wife.Chris was married to his beloved wife, Marie (Mathis) Krauchak, on Dec. 18, 1987. She survives at home.Also left to cherish his memory are his father, Gerald Krauchak; his daughter, Desiree (George) Greene of San Antonio, Texas; his son, John Krauchak of Winston-Salem, N.C.; his grandchildren, Ahvian, Dominique, Peyton and Lauren; his brother, Keith Krauchak of Butler; and his sister, Rebecca D'Antonio of Butler.In addition to his mother, Chris was preceded in death by his daughter, Erika.KRAUCHAK — Funeral arrangements for Christopher L.
