Patricia MacDonald
Patricia “Patti” I. (Karcz) MacDonald, 72, of Middlesex Township, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at home.
Born Jan. 29, 1949, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Decoskey) Karcz of Gallitzin, Pa.
She was the loving wife of the late Lyle Lee MacDonald.
She is survived by her children, Shawn (Karen) Regala, Todd Regala, Dana (Mike) Scuticchio, Richard Boyer and his son, Talon, and Marc Boyer and his son, Keagan; her stepchildren, Brian (Lori) MacDonald and their children, Samantha, Emma and Frederick MacDonald, and Jennifer (Daniel) Burke and their children, Daniel, Clare, James and Saoirse Burke; her sisters, Barbara “Barb” Lauer, Joan Maier, Cecelia “Cil” Bradshaw and Teresa Karcz; and her brother, James “Jim” Karcz.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John “Junior” Karcz, Mary Catherine “Tessie” Stetter and Regina “Genie” Osmolinski.
Patricia was a graduate of Greater Gallitzin Joint High School Class of 1966, was a dedicated lifelong organizer and giver, an advocate of charity, and was always helping others solve puzzles of life.
She was employed early in life as an office manager for various medical practices, and later for The Rehabilitation (Children’s) Institute of Pittsburgh, and then finally in billing and claims adjustments for UPMC Corporate, Pittsburgh.
MACDONALD — The family of Patricia “Patti” I. (Karcz) MacDonald, who died Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, and Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler.
She will be laid to rest at Allegheny County Memorial Park in Allison Park/McCandless Township.
