Slippery Rock University’s men’s basketball team dropped a 73-66 decision to visiting Mercyhurst Monday night.

Junior guard Amante Britt scored 17 points for The Rock (10-4, 6-2) and Frankie Hughes added 12.

Despite a 30-point, 10-rebound double-double by Mattix Clement, the Butler County Community College men’s basketball team bowed to host Penn Highlands, 79-69. Julian Sanks (11 points), Titus Fuller (11), and Austin Rodgers (10) also scored in the double digits for the Pioneers (1-11, 0-3).
