Carolyn (Zarnick) Honse, of Butler, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.

She was born in Butler on Feb. 3, 1939, the daughter to the late Howard and Aleene (Thomas) Zarnick.

Carolyn was a devout Catholic who attended Mass almost daily. She devoted her life to her family, children and grandchildren. Carolyn was known for her wonderful cooking, family meals, and warm, caring and selfless heart, but most of all for her love of family and friends. She was loved and will be forever missed.

She was the mother of Daniel (Dawna) Fair and Lori (Brian) Sibble; sister of Larry Zarnick, Brenda Wilson and Cynthia Zarnick Botsis; and grandmother of Daniel (Susann) Jr., Andrew, Valerie, Brianna (David), Tiffany and Dennis Jr. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved son, Randy Fair; and her brother, Howard “Paul” Zarnick.

HONSE — Friends of Carolyn (Zarnick) Honse, who died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday in All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Calvary cemetery.
