SUMMIT TWP — Two people were transported for injuries following a vehicle crash Thursday morning on Herman Road near Summit Academy.

State police said they are trying to determine how the accident occurred, but both vehicles were totaled. The crash occurred around 9:13 a.m., and Herman Road was blocked in both directions.

The female driver of a Jeep SUV was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for a cut on her face. The passenger of that vehicle was a minor and had no injuries.

The male driver of the second vehicle was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

East Butler Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance, Butler Ambulance Service, Herman Volunteer Fire Company and state police responded to the call.
