Robert Dolby

Robert “Bob” Hays Dolby passed away Dec. 4, 2021, in Florida, after a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 29, 1941, in Oil City. He was the son of Earl and Vera Dolby, and the stepson of Kermit Rohrback.

He graduated from East Brady High School in 1959, then served three years with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He retired from Penn Drake after 42 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping during his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Annette Regdon Dolby; two sons, Robert and Patrick; and a sister, Patricia Dolby Bees. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Sutton Dolby; a daughter, Andrea Mausser; a son, Brent; his grandchildren, Clarisa and Derrick; his beloved great-grandchildren, Adlina and Brayden; and his sister, Kathleen (Glenn) Weibel. DOLBY — There will be no visitation at this time for Robert “Bob” Hays Dolby, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
