Nancy Schreiber

Schreiber

Nancy Jean Schreiber, 63, of Slippery Rock, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long, courageous battle with COVID-19.

She was born July 6, 1958, in Pittsburgh, to Robert Charles and Evelyn Madeline Muskardin Huber.

She married her childhood sweetheart, Edward, on July 30, 1977, at St. Michael and All Angels Church. Together, Ed and Nancy raised five children and grew their family with the addition of eight grandchildren.

Nancy always paved the way for her family. Nothing meant more to her. Always by Ed’s side, Nancy enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother, raising her kids and eventually becoming “Bubba.”

She enjoyed knitting, sewing, puzzles, scrapbooking and spending time with the family at their camp. Very few pictures exist without Ed at Nancy’s side, or without a grandchild on her lap. She lived her life without regrets.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Edward; her children, Leigh Ann (Phil) Rozic, Tammie (Aaron) Brown, Eddie (Emily Bowser) Schreiber, Sean (Kelsey) Schreiber and Zack (Autumn) Schreiber; and her grandchildren, Carter, Maddie, Jordyn, Camden, Dane, Amelia, Pierce and Emily.

Also surviving are her sisters, Roberta (Chuck) Rodger, Janet (Richard) Anesin and Karen (Richard) Dering; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Kenneth Huber; and her in-laws, Edward and Mary Ann Schreiber.

SCHREIBER — Funeral services for Nancy Jean Schreiber, who died Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler, with a date and time to be announced later.

Arrangements are being handled by SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.
