John Caproni Jr.
John “Jack” Francis Caproni Jr., 74, of Zelienople, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021.
Born July 6, 1947, in Northampton, Mass., he was the son of the late John Francis Caproni Sr. and Muriel (Holt) Caproni.
Jack proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, working as an offset press operator at the Pentagon during the Vietnam War era. He most recently worked at Thorn Hill Printing in Freedom.Jack was a quiet man, who loved watching TV and building model cars and trains. He also enjoyed creating his own miniature railroad villages. He loved taking his blue 2013 GMC Sierra, his pride and joy, out for a spin. Above all, Jack was a loving brother and uncle, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters, Linda Susan Lutz and her husband, David, of Harmony, and Patricia Ann Zedo and her husband, David, of Oviedo, Fla.; his nephews and nieces, David Lutz Jr., Kelle Taylor and her husband, Daniel, and Corey Zedo; and his great-nieces, Danielle and Ashlyn Taylor.CAPRONI — Friends of John “Jack” Francis Caproni Jr., who died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, will be received from noon until the time of the funeral ceremony at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.Jack will be laid to rest with military honors at English Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zelienople.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
