Malcolm Lipscomb

Malcolm “Mel” L. Lipscomb, 62, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021.

He was born Oct. 31, 1959, in Clarksburg, W.Va., and was the son of Irene (Nestor) Lipscomb and the late William Lipscomb Sr.

Malcolm enjoyed hunting and fishing with family, camping and everything outdoors.

He was the beloved husband of Patty Lipscomb, since their marriage in 1979; father of Josh (Amanda) Lipscomb, Charles Lipscomb, Kassie (Nickolas) Flanders and Hollie (Andrew) Eichenauer; the brother of George Lipscomb, Kenneth (Ruby) Lipscomb, Rebecca Schnelzer and William Lipscomb Jr.; and the grandfather of Keara Luich, Naomi Lipscomb, Austin Lipscomb, Gage Flanders, Mason Young, Aurora Flanders, Edward Flanders, Alyssa Eichenauer and Kendall Eichenauer.

Malcolm is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

LIPSCOMB — All services will be held privately for Malcolm “Mel” L. Lipscomb, who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021.
