Heather M. Craig, 39, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly, Friday morning, Jan. 14, 2022, at her home.

Born Dec. 18, 1982, in Butler, she was a daughter of John “Jack” Craig and Gertrude A. (Kriley) Craig.

Heather was a graduate of Butler High School, and had worked as a kitchen aide at the Butler Children’s Center.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, and had loved to attend her nephew, Jordan’s sporting events, as she was his biggest fan. She was very friendly and family oriented, and enjoyed spending time with Ed and Lucy, also Champ and Chestnut.

She liked to dance, and her lottery tickets.

Surviving are her parents, Jack and Gertrude Craig of Butler; one sister, Kristie (Chris) Vicari of Butler; one nephew, Jordan Vicari; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Stella Craig and Francis and Mary Kriley; one aunt, Rita Wagner; and one uncle, Billy Kriley.

CRAIG — Friends of Heather M. Craig, who died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.

Her family requests that everyone attending please wear a facial covering.
