Thomas Osche

Thomas Robert Osche, 68, of Cabot, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday afternoon, Dec. 11, 2021, at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

He was born Jan. 30, 1953, in Butler, and was the son of the late Albert J. Osche Sr. and Agnes (Shuler) Osche.

He was a 1974 graduate of the Clarence Brown School in Butler.

He was a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

Tom enjoyed gardening, especially planting potatoes and onions, and being in the outdoors watching the deer and birds. He also enjoyed watching TV, putting puzzles together, playing cards and going for rides around the countryside with his family. Tom was a kind giver, who would talk to everyone, and he touched many lives in the community.

Cherishing his memory are his siblings, Mrs. Morris (Kathleen) Steinhiser of Cabot, Albert J. Osche Jr. of Butler, Charles Osche of Cabot, Margaret (David) Graham of New Wilmington, and James (Susan) Osche of Cabot; his aunt, Jane Beck of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; a niece; and several nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Osche and Patrick Osche; a sister-in-law, Julie Osche; and a brother-in-law, Morris Steinhiser.

OSCHE — Friends of Thomas Robert Osche, who died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Herman.
