Janice Cole

Janice June Cole, 73, of Cranberry Township, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2021.

Born April 26, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late June Braun Cronenweth and John Cronenweth.

Jan held a strong sense of faith and had a lifelong involvement in the church. She worshipped at the All Saints Anglican Church in Cranberry Township, where she was in charge of the altar guild. She also was very active in the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoyed stamping and making greeting cards.

Jan will be most remembered for her outgoing spirit, her wonderful sense of humor, and her positive outlook on life. She was a loving wife, mother, and Meema to her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 50 years, James M. Cole; her daughter, Gretchen (Steve) Mooney; her grandchildren, Emma and Mason Mooney; her brother, Jerry Cronenweth; her sister, Judith Mason, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael T. Cole, who passed away in 2010; and her brother, John Cronenweth Jr.

Cole — Friends of Janice June Cole, who died Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave./P.O. Box 2155, Cranberry Township.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Anglican Church, 1510 Haine School Road, Cranberry Township. (Friends please meet at church).

She will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Shepherd's Heart Fellowship and Veteran's Home, 13 Pride St., Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
