Violet E. Marshall

Violet E. Marshall

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Violet E. Marshall, 96, of Gibsonia, formerly of Cranberry Township, who passed away on Dec. 7, 2021.

She was born on July 9, 1925, in Canonsburg.

Violet is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Arthur and Alba Cocchi Stienstra; her husband, Robert W. Marshall; her sisters, Dorothy and Eleanor; and her brothers, Arthur and Donald.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted daughters, Karyn (Raymond) Delaney and Deborah (Raymond) Smith; and her beloved grandchildren, Taryn Delaney, Trevor (Meagan) Delaney, Brennan Smith and Darren Smith.

She will be dearly missed by her great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Delaney, who brought the biggest smile to her face.

Violet was a homemaker, who always encouraged and supported her family. In her late teenage years during World War II, she stepped up to aid the war welding LST ships on Neville Island.

In her golden years, she had a passion for sewing and creating doll clothing, which she sold at craft shops and shows.

While we will miss her dearly, we know she is in Heaven, blessing everyone with her beautiful smile.
