Janis Mae Neely
Janis Mae Neely, 81, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Dec. 7, 2021, after an illness.
Born Nov. 18, 1940, in Perry Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Emily Everett Barbera.
Janis was a previous member of the former Wesleyan West Freedom Methodist Church and later attended Homewood Methodist Church for over 18 years.
In her younger years, Janis enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, cooking and shopping, especially for shoes and curtains. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Janis is survived by her five children, Rida (Tim Wolfe) Hughes of East Brady, Noma (Robert Bridges) Adams of Clarion, Tammy Roxberry of Parker, Roy Fair of Lorain, Ohio, and Mandy (Rob) Smith of Wampum; and her two sisters, Patty (Jim) Wolfe of Foxburg and Lola Morgan of Emlenton.
She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Janis was preceded in death by her companion of 18 years, John Yurshia; her infant son, Ronny Fair; her son, Terry Hughes; her sisters, Arlene Fair, Donna Merryman, Mary Barbera and Wanda Bilnski; her brothers, Garry Barbera and Alfred Paul Barbera; as well as a brother-in-law, Ronald Morgan.
NEELY — Visitation for Janis Mae Neely, who died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker, where a funeral service will be held at 7:15 p.m.
Burial will take place Monday at Perryville Cemetery.
