Dolores M. Stark

Dolores “Dee” M. Stark, 72, of Butler, passed away from a long battle with cancer on Dec. 7, 2021, with her loving family by her side.

She was born June 30, 1949, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Charles Young and the late Martha (Hesidence) Young.

Dolores was a graduate of Butler Area High School.

She worked for Service Star and Giant Eagle.

Dolores especially enjoyed playing cards on Wednesdays with her sisters, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was a member of All Saints Parish at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.

She adored all of her grandchildren, and loved to watch them play in their numerous sports, as well as viewing their amazing art projects and watching them perform at school.

She is survived by her loving children, two daughters and one son, Heather (Bill) Fulton of Murrysville, Amy Richardson (Scott) of Butler and Edward E. Stark Jr. (Anne) of West Sunbury; eight grandchildren, Tanner and Brooke Richardson, Jacob, Toryn and Nathan Fulton, and Gabby, Reed and Ryder Stark; seven brothers, Chuck Young, Leo Young, Steve Young, Dennis Young, Jerome Young, Jim Young and Joe Young; two sisters, Norine Daubner and Linda Ritzert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward E. Stark Sr., whom she married on Aug. 21, 1971, and who passed away on Aug. 7, 2021, from a battle with ALS; and two brothers, Kenneth Young and Donald Young.

STARK — There will be no public visitation for Dolores “Dee” M. Stark, who died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
