James A. Robinson
James A. Robinson, 66, of Butler, was called home by our Lord on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 1, 1955, in Butler, and was the son of the late James D. Robinson and Ruth (Lawson) Robinson of Kentucky.
James enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and his hideaway camp.
He retired from AK Steel.
His favorite Bible verse was John 3:16.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen M. (Isherwood) Robinson, whom he married Aug. 9, 1997; his mother, Ruth A. Robinson; a sister, Carol (Kenneth) Weleski of Kentucky; two nephews, Timothy (Abigail) Weleski and Gregory (Farrah) Weleski, all of Kentucky; his son, Paul (Holly) Walter of Missouri; his great-nieces and great-nephew, Olivia, James and Aleksis Weleski; and his grandchildren, Alex and Adam Walter.
He was preceded in death by his father.
ROBINSON — Friends of James A. Robinson, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Mary Jo Gould of Thorncreek United Methodist Church officiating.
Private interment will be held in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
