A fire destroyed a wood burner shed in the backyard of a home at 108 South Woodlawn Road in Butler Township early Saturday morning.

The Butler Township Volunteer Fire District, the Butler Department Of Veterans Affairs Fire Department, and Butler Ambulance responded to the scene shortly after 1 a.m.

Chief Kevin Smith of the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District said no one was injured and the home itself was not damaged, but that the shed was “pretty much destroyed.” He estimated the damage to be $10,000.
