Lynn Hageter
Lynn Hageter, 75, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1946, in Butler, and was the daughter to the late Floyd J. Smith and Norabel R. (Leech) Smith.
Lynn worked for Armstrong School District as a teacher. She also worked for Lifesteps and for Wesley Institute. Lynn loved horses and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert S. Hageter Sr., whom she married on June 26, 1971; three sons, Robert (Audrey) Hageter Jr. of Rimersburg, Kirk (Brandy) Hageter of Cabot, and Gregory (Kelli) Hageter of Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren, Marissa Hageter, Kara Hageter, Teja Hageter, Brayden Hageter, Lia Hageter, Harli Hageter and Hendrix Hageter; and two brothers, James Smith of Minerva, Ohio, and Jeffrey (Beth) Smith of Fenelton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Randal Smith; and an infant sister, Cheryl Smith.
Hageter — Friends of Lynn Hageter, who died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Jared Townley, of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Cabot, officiating.
Private burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
