Robert C. Flower

Robert C. Flower, 92, of Cabot, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away on Dec. 2, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born Nov. 19, 1929, in New Galilee, Pa., he was the son of Carl Flower and Vesta Mitchell Flower.

Bob served in the U.S. Army during Korea.He had worked as a regional sales manager for Armour Co. for 24 years. He then worked for Family Guidance for 22 years, and the PA Family Institute for 12 years.He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.He enjoyed golfing.Surviving are his wife, Dorothy McKinley Flower; his children, Dean (Sandra) Flower of Michigan, Sandy (Steve) Sobek of Allison Park and Mark (Laurie) Flower of Ohio; his stepchildren, Penny (Jim) Neil of Texas, Denitta Schille of Florida, Derek (Laurie) McKinley of Florida and Douglas (Jana) McKinley of Illinois; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Flower; his brother, Keith Flower; his sister, Mary Adelaide Finney; and two grandchildren.FLOWER — Friends of Robert C. Flower, who died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Interment will follow in Hampton Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Linda Connors, a former missionary to Myanmar who has returned to the states and ministers to hurting people.
