Mary Orra Hoffman

Mary Orra Hoffman, 74, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Renfrew, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at UPMC Passavant.

She was born May 6, 1947, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Covert) Osche.

Mary was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and attended Trinity Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed stock car racing, bingo, casinos, flea markets, shuffle board and poker night.

Mary loved being with her family and friends.

Mary had worked at Bobbie Brooks, Butler County Memorial Park and as a clerk at Culligan.

Surviving are her daughter, Saundi Hoffman of Renfrew; her son, Robert Hoffman of Mercer; two grandsons, Travis and Dalton Hoffman; a great-granddaughter, Aspyn Hoffman; a sister, Barbara “Pee Wee” McCune of East Butler; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris (Ron) Williams of Renfrew; several nieces and nephews; and her granddog, Junior.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 55 years, David J. Hoffman, who died Oct. 13, 2012.

HOFFMAN — Friends of Mary Orra Hoffman, who died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler.

Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
