John B. “Jack” Kirk, 71, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021.

He was born Dec. 10, 1949, in Butler, and was the son of the late John Kirk Sr. and Frances E. (Haley) Mohn.

John loved the gym, hunting, fishing, meeting friends for coffee, and especially playing drums in bands at bars and restaurants.

He was also known for his good heart and hardworking personality.

John was the father of Sean Kirk; brother of Michael Mohn, Patrick (Gina) Mohn, Jay (Denise) Mohn, Lee (Pam) Mohn and Dean (Alice) Mohn; and grandfather of Kyra Robinson.

He will be forever missed by Sue Cullem and Kathy Snyder.

KIRK — Friends of John B. “Jack” Kirk, who died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
