Dorothy Thompson

Dorothy E. Thompson, 91, of Sarver, passed away on Nov. 28, 2021, at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Born Jan. 24, 1930, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Stormer and Alice Stormer.

She worked as a farm wife for the Thompson Family Farm.

She was a member of Center Methodist Church in Fawn Township.

Dorothy loved cooking and baking, reading and doing word search puzzles, sitting with her cat in her recliner, and sitting on her front porch enjoying the nice weather. She took great pride in cleaning the eggs from the farm before they sold.

Surviving are her loving children, Donald Thompson of Sarver, David K. Thompson of Sarver, and Doris (Richard) Kirkner of Kittanning; her grandchildren, Theresa (Tony) Marianna of Sarver, Rebecca Kelly of Sarver, and Angela (Douglas) McMillen of Natrona Heights; her stepgrandchildren, Martin (Jen) Kondrick of Sarver, and Sarah (Erik) Pierwsza of Sarver; her great-grandchildren, Shelbi and Tyler Marianna, Dalton Kelly, and Austin, Logan and Hunter McMillen; her great-great-granddaughter, Addison Drum; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Emily and Adam Kondrick, and Autumn, Samantha and Allysia Pierwsza; and her brother, William Stormer of Freeport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thompson; her grandson, Karl D. Thompson; her sister, Ethel Sexton; her daughter-in-law, Carol Thompson; and her brother-in-law, James Thompson.

THOMPSON — Friends of Dorothy E. Thompson, who died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robin Swinsburg officiating.

Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
