Bette M. McWilliams

Bette M. McWilliams, 91, of Saxonburg, passed away on Nov. 23, 2021, at the Orchards of Saxonburg.

Born Sept. 23, 1930, in Sarver, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Edwards and Margaret Schrengost Edwards.

She worked as a homemaker.

Bette enjoyed planting flowerbeds, search-for- word books, and reading the newspaper. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Roxanne M. Freehling of Sarver; her great-grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Gifford, Jimmy Lee, Tyler and Logan; and great-great-grandaughter, Riley Muir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. McWilliams; her grandchildren, Rebecca M. “Becky” Freehling, Kenneth M. Freehling and James W. Freehling III; a son-in-law, James W. Freehling II; and her brother, Dale Edwards.

MCWILLIAMS — Friends of Bette M. McWilliams, who died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Private interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery.
