Sara Edith Consla

Sara Edith Consla, 58, of Slippery Rock, was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival at AHN-Grove City in Grove City on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021.

She was a special person who “loved to help others.”

She was born on Feb. 7, 1963, in Guys Mills, Crawford County, Pa., to Walter Consla and June Hayes Consla.

She married James Jeffery Cornelius on Sept. 23, 2016.

She graduated in 1981 from Maplewood High School in Saegertown, Pa., and later graduated from Edinboro University.

She sold modular and manufactured homes for 422 Homes in Prospect, where she loved her job and was available 24/7 for her clients, who greatly appreciated her.

She loved to bake, especially cookies for everybody. Sara enjoyed sewing. Her world revolved around her four Pomeranians, and she recently purchased a horse named “Sonny.”

Sara cherished her family.

Survivors include her husband, James “Jeff” Cornelius at home; and two brothers, Walter Consla and Gary Consla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richard Consla; and three sisters, Darla Olson, Nancy Hegyi and Janice Smith.

CONSLA — A funeral Mass for Sara Edith Consla, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, will be observed at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Adam Verona presiding.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Slippery Rock.
