Barry D. Mowry

Barry D. Mowry, 70, of Butler, passed away, Monday Nov. 22, 2021, at his residence.

Born Nov. 11, 1951, in Butler, he was a son of the late Wilbert Mowry and Louise (Dietrich) Mowry.

Barry was a self-employed gunsmith. He had been an ordained minister, where he helped open new churches in Oklahoma City, and finally had taught music class, before returning to Butler.

He enjoyed hunting and camping when he was younger.

Surviving are his daughter, Diane (Raymond) Halstead of Butler; his son, Chad Mowry of Butler; his grandchildren, Peyton, Efrem and Phalon Halstead, and Emerson, Jaxson, Addison and Patterson Mowry; three brothers, Wilbert (Erma) Mowry of Butler, Robert Mowry of New Mexico, and Carl (Tammy) Mowry of Butler.

MOWRY — There is no visitation or service planned at this time for Barry D. Mowry, who died Monday Nov. 22, 2021.

Arrangements are being handled by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
