Several fire departments and the county hazardous material response team were dispatched to the scene of a reported natural gas line explosion along West Eldorado Road in Parker Township.

The explosion was reported to the county 911 dispatch center just before 9 a.m. Wednesday. Emergency responders cleared the scene just after 1:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The gas line is near a well.

Volunteer fire departments from Bruin, Parker, Petrolia, Eau Claire and Emlenton along with the county hazmat team responded.
