LeRoy P. Geibel Sr.

LeRoy P. Geibel Sr., 85, of Cabot, passed away on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.

He was born in Butler on Jan. 25, 1936, to the late Leo J. and Eleonora (Kriley) Geibel.

LeRoy worked for Summit Township, and retired from Wise Machine Company after a long career. He was loved, respected and will be forever missed.

LeRoy is survived by six sons, LeRoy (Carolyn) Jr., Christopher, Thomas (M. Cathy), Leonard (Pam), Fred and Phil (Debbie) Geibel; and seven daughters, Cecilia (Thomas) Nebel, Mary (Darryl) Fincher, Christine (Thomas) Homa, Frances (Patrick) Tirk, Theresa (Robert) Maticic, Deborah (Mike) Robb and Jane (Dan) Walowen. He also is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecilia R. (Snyder) Geibel; his second wife, Janice (Blair) Geibel; and numerous brothers and a sister.

Geibel Sr. — Family and friends of LeRoy P. Geibel Sr., who died Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, are asked to meet for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Parish, St. John R.C. Church of Coylesville.

LeRoy's burial will be held privately in St. Mary Cemetery of Herman.
