The Middlesex Christmas parade planned for Saturday, Dec. 18 has been moved to Sunday Dec. 19 due to inclement weather.

Denis Bishop of the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department said residents can expect the same parade, just one day later.

“The route and everything else is going to stay exactly the same,” Bishop said. “There will be some people throwing candy, three big floats, fire trucks, police cars, and maybe a couple of local businesses.”

The parade will begin at the Holy Sepulcher Church lot and end at the Middlesex Township municipal building, stopping at a number of local township roads along the way.

The Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department will post a “Santa Tracker” on their Facebook page for residents to see in real time where the parade is headed.

The parade will also stop in the Holy Sepulcher Church and Middlesex Crossing parking lots for those who may not encounter it in their neighborhoods.
