Christine E. Brown
Christine E. Brown, 47, of Butler, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, following a short illness.
Born March 11, 1974, in Butler, she was a daughter of David W. MacDonald and Kathy (Roper) MacDonald.
Christine was a graduate of Butler High School and also Lenape School of Nursing, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She had worked for Good Samaritan Hospice visiting nurses.
She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church. Christine had enjoyed shopping, getting her hair and nails done, playing bingo and spending time with her daughter.
Surviving are her husband, James L. Brown, whom she married Jan. 11, 2008; her parents, David and Kathy MacDonald of Woodbine; two sons, Tim Fulks of Chicora and Billy Burns of Bruin; one daughter, Ella Brown at home; one sister, Sara MacDonald of Woodbine; three brothers, William Lee (Summer) MacDonald of Butler, Derrick (Aaron Watson) MacDonald of Butler and Matthew (Melissa) MacDonald of East Butler; her beloved dog, Minnie; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Brown — Friends of Christine E. Brown, who died Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.
