Butler Transit Authority buses will again not run on six major holidays in 2022: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The transit authority board of directors on Tuesday also approved to schedule 12 holidays for office staff in 2022.

John Paul, executive director of the transit authority, said the Christmas holiday falling on a Sunday when office staff already is off added a holiday to the schedule as well. “Earlier this year we approved Martin Luther King Jr. Day, that's now on there,” he said. “Other than that, everything is pretty much normal.”
