Bruce C. Crider
Bruce C. Crider, 66, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born Feb. 22, 1955, in Butler, he was the son of Charles Krenn Crider and Ethel Bachman Crider.
Bruce was the owner of Crider Truck Leasing, where he was mechanic, driver and manager. He was a member of Summit Presbyterian Church, where he had served as an elder and also sang in the choir. He was also a member of the PMTA. He enjoyed farming, he loved horses and especially watching his children show horses.
Surviving are his wife, Anna (Cypher) Crider, whom he married June 16, 1973; his children, Lori (Dave Stanley) Crider of Butler, April Crider of Butler, Jennifer (Robert Rhea) Crider of Butler and Bryan (Amanda) Crider of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Alexis, Xander, Jakob, Trinity, Allysann and Arianna; four sisters, Mary (Bob) Davison of Georgia, Wendy (Dale) McCoy of Philadelphia, Louise Crider of Texas and Tracy (Jerry) Zdilla of Valencia; and one brother, Lew (Rosie) Crider of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Charlie Peirsel; and one brother, Chuck Crider
Crider — Friends of Bruce C. Crider, who died Saturday Nov. 13, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Summit Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
